PRODUCTS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY
The CLEVOCENTER Warranty applies only to products marketed by CLEVOCENTER. This warranty covers only Hardware, any and all software provided is guaranteed by its own manufacturer. This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by accident, abuse and misuse (b) to any alteration or repair carried out without CLEVOCENTER written permission; (c) if serial number has been removed or defaced; (d) to damage caused or unawareness of the basic rules of use/conservation/periodic maintenance.
In case a defect is found, you should report it immediately through our support page. CLEVOCENTER, as provided by law, has the option of: (a) repairing the product (using new components or replacement components); (b) replace the product with a new product that is at least equivalent to the original product; (c) issue a refund of the original purchase amount. When initiating a warranty process, a process number (RMA number) will be assigned and it is the customer's responsibility that this number is always present in any communication concerning the resolution of the guarantee process and in case there is a collection of the product the RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of the shipping box.
LIMITATIONS ON WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS
Batteries and AC Adapters are considered consumable components, the warranty on these components is only 1 year from the date of original purchase.
USEFUL INFORMATION, WARRANTIES, CODE OF CONDUCT AND APPLICABLE LAW
When buying a computer equipment in our on-line store you always have access to a set of essential information. You also have the possibility to maintain a privileged contact in an extended time with our collaborators through the ChatCenter. Staying in your own space and without travel costs you can carry out a series of useful operations and, in case you need to activate the guarantee, you can schedule the collection of equipment at the location of your choice (exclusively in the Iberian Peninsula). Another important advantage is that communication through chat is an added guarantee of the commitments that we have undertaken since they are recorded.
If you prefer a more traditional and personal contact you have the possibility to visit us at our North Production Center, located at Rua 14 Outubro, 1013, 4430-053 Gaia, which in addition to all the technical expertise also has a Showroom with all models in exposition.

We carry out our activity scrupulously complying with the legislation in force and respecting the best industrial and commercial practices, always with urbanity and efficiency.
We guarantee that in the moment of ordering and sending, you will be accurately informed about:
- Determining characteristics of your product and/or service;
- Exact price, including fees, taxes and delivery charges (where applicable);
- Payment conditions, delivery and execution;
We also guarantee to the consumer that all goods and services provided by us are free from any material defects under normal use and have a full two-year warranty, with collection at the customer's home and, later, home delivery (valid only for Mainland Portugal).
Where applicable, CLEVOCENTER’s warranty will allow you to repair or replace faulty or defective parts (we recall that, given the rapid evolution of this market, there are often products that are replaced or are no longer marketed during the two-year warranty). All in compliance with good practices - keeping the product within the expected operating conditions. All parts and faulty or defective products replaced during the warranty period become the property of CLEVOCENTER.
Please note that the guarantee we provide is also ensured by the manufacturers of the components. Thus, the barebones are guaranteed by Clevo (www.clevo.com.tw), Intel processors by Intel (www.intel.com) and so on for the remaining elements of the system purchased.
On the other hand, this warranty excludes any consumables and parts damaged by improper or abusive use. The warranty is therefore limited, extinguished and not extendable to any equipment or part that has been damaged or rendered inoperative as a result of:
- a) Accident, fall, fire, flood, misuse or abuse;
- b) Use of parts and accessories non-conforming with the good or equipment sold;
- c) Unauthorized changes to equipment;
- d) Breach of any warranty seal or removal of any label with the serial number;
- e) Assistance, repair or replacement by a third party other than a Clevocenter Service Center;
- f) Use in locations without "ground" or subject to strong voltage variations.
- g) Unawareness of the basic rules of use/conservation/periodic maintenance
Should the customer detect a manufacturing defect, he must promptly inform CLEVOCENTER to start the warranty process. The decision not to report the defect and/or to continue to use the equipment despite its defect is not recommended, but if the customer takes that decision, any other damage caused by not repairing the manufacturing defect it is customer's responsibility.
In order to obtain assistance under the Guarantee, the consumer shall:
- Contact CLEVOCENTER by chat, ticket or email addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Once the shipping authorization is obtained (RMA) the customer should make a backup of his data, programs and other information. It will even be preferable for the equipment to come without this information.
- The equipment must be accompanied by document proving the date of purchase and, regardless the time elapsed since the purchase, always properly packed in the original transport packaging (damages caused by the absence of these packages are not CLEVOCENTER's responsibility).
PIXEL POLICY - "DEAD/STUCK PIXELS"
When buying a laptop at CLEVOCENTER you are buying a laptop with Class 2 LCD according to ISO-9241-302, 303, 305, 307: 2008.
Class 2 allows the maximum:
- 2 white pixels / stuck in a certain color
- 2 black pixels / "dead"
- 5 sub-pixels under any of the above conditions
If the Class 2 LCD displays more than 2 stuck or death pixels or more than 5 stuck or death sub-pixels the customer can activate the warranty for a replacement of the LCD.
We also guarantee to consumers whose purchase was made remotely the possibility of withdrawal or termination of contract within 14 (fourteen) days after the day of receipt of the goods, in products that have not been customized and provided they are fully functional, with no signs of use and sent in the original CLEVOCENTER packaging in the exact conditions of receipt of the product, without any signs of use. After the goods shipping or delivery under the conditions laid down, the customer will receive and must fill out, sign and return to CLEVOCENTER a credit note (document with accounting effects and VAT regularization effects), a settlement form and a satisfaction questionnaire (voluntary). CLEVOCENTER undertakes to return the value of the good or equipment under specified conditions within thirty (30) days of termination of the contract and provided that the credit note and settlement form have been properly filled and delivered/sent to CLEVOCENTER.
Customers who have purchased the equipment through consumer credit also have the possibility of termination of the contract (as agreement signed with the financial company Abanca Serviços Financeiros).
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
CLEVOCENTER cannot be held liable for any damages caused by the good or equipment or by an improper operation, including in this domain, lost profits, business, revenue losses or anticipated savings, for indirect or consequential damages or for any claim made against the Customer by third parties.
CLEVOCENTER also cannot be held responsible for delays in the transport services (MRW, TNT or Fedex), reason why this service depends on the contractual conditions of the same ones, namely, the insurance related to the shipments.
CLEVOCENTER, as a result of fulfilling its obligations under these limitations to the guarantee, cannot under any circumstances be responsible for damages or losses of any programs or data existing in the equipment, either fixed or removable storage drives.
The delivery time of orders corresponds to an estimated time which may be, on more favourable terms, decreased and, conversely, lengthened. That is why an updated information is kept on the website and, in case of delay due to difficulties of access to specific components, the customer is informed and if it so wishes he may cancel the order immediately.
Except as expressly stated in this warranty, CLEVOCENTER shall not be liable for any other warranties, express or implied, including any market / distribution or suitability warranties for any particular type of Use.
In accordance with Decree-Law no. 67/2003, of 8 April, with amendments introduced by Decree-Law no. 84/2008, of 21 May: The two-year warranty claim is valid.
